Hi! I’m Alex, an animation graduate based in London.
I’m interested in all aspects of the animation production process, and love bringing characters to life with motion and sound.
Reel Context:
For my final year uni project, I attempted to learn all about what gave 90s anime that particularly nice warm vintage quality, and I’ve been applying these effects to my work ever since! From imitating acetate drop shadow, chromatic aberration, bloom, noise and even just the aspect ratio, I’ve tried to learn and apply these ‘imperfections’ from an era of animation I love.
I’ve also looked at a bunch of Indie guitar music/genres more closely to inform the same kind of atmosphere that I wanted to create with the sound.
